Are you looking to develop your management skills within a community setting?

We are looking for someone to join our ward Senior Management Team. You will need to have excellent clinical skills and be a good role model for our nurses. You will be given full support in all aspects of ward management and clinically from the other Deputy Ward Managers from within the Community Hospitals directorate.

Working within our Nurse-led unit you will be caring for patients who have come to us from Medical, Trauma, and Surgical wards for rehabilitation and complex discharge management. You will also have the privilege of caring for patients who are coming to the end of their life as well as patients with a wide variety of other conditions. This means that every day will you will see a variety of specialisms that will allow you to utilise and grow your nursing skills in different ways.

At Wallingford Community Hospital, the main focus is on rehabilitation. To facilitate this there is a strong therapeutic presence within our multi-disciplinary team which you will be an integral part of.
