Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust has been rated as Good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

We are a responsive and innovative Foundation Trust that places our values of Caring, Safe and Excellent at the heart of everything we do. We take great pride in our staff and believe that investing in you is key to us achieving our vision of outstanding care delivered by outstanding people.

We work with a wide range of partner organisations to deliver care and support to people in their own homes and from a number of hospitals and community bases. We focus on delivering care as close to home as possible.

Oxford Health NHS FT is seeking a full or part -time Interface doctor who is committed to a clinically led, innovative approach to ambulatory medicine. In particular, the care of acutely unwell, older people living with frailty outside of the traditional acute hospital setting. With Oxfordshire being one of the accelerator sites for implementation of the NHS Long Term Plan Urgent Community Response, this is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to assess and treat patients in the community hospital based units and to also support the wider Community Multi-disciplinary Team delivering care in patients homes.

The post will appeal to innovative and high Calibre doctors including acute medical physicians, geratologists and General Practitioners with specialist interest in care of the older patient.

The advert will close earlier if suitable applicants apply. Interviews will be held in early May.
