Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust has been rated as Good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

We are a responsive and innovative Foundation Trust that places our values of Caring, Safe and Excellent at the heart of everything we do. We take great pride in our staff and believe that investing in you is key to us achieving our vision of outstanding care delivered by outstanding people.

We work with a wide range of partner organisations to deliver care and support to people in their own homes and from a number of hospitals and community bases. We focus on delivering care as close to home as possible.

We are looking for an experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist/CBT Therapist to join our exciting, innovative and successful service. TalkingSpace Plus is the Increasing Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service in Oxfordshire which provides evidence-based psychological therapies over the telephone, online or face to face. We support over 11,500 people a year who are struggling to manage common mental health conditions.

The TalkingSpace Plus service is delivered in partnership with Oxfordshire Mind, Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust and Principal Medical Limited. As part of the Oxford Academic Health Science Network, the service continues to build on its excellent reputation of delivering high quality treatment.

We have been an NHS England early implementer for Integrated IAPT for people with long-term physical health conditions and DWP Employment Advice enabling us to expand our work in physical health settings as well as the work environment. Participation in audit, policy and service development, as well as research activities/programmes will be a key part of the role.

Working as part of the senior management team, this is an excellent opportunity for the post holder to ensure the systematic governance of psychological practice within the overall framework of TalkingSpace Plus policies and procedures.

In agreement with the Deputy Clinical Lead, the post holder will contribute to the day to day management of clinical governance processes within the team to ensure the safe and effective management of patient care across the whole service.

You should have significant experience of providing clinical and managerial supervision in a professional setting that focuses on using evidence based models of treatment. It is also strongly desirable that you will have worked in an IAPT service and have experience of working with people with and without long-term physical health conditions and their carers and other health care staff.

If you are a compassionate team worker with enthusiasm and motivation we would love to hear from you.
