Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust has been rated as Good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

We are a responsive and innovative Foundation Trust that places our values of Caring, Safe and Excellent at the heart of everything we do. We take great pride in our staff and believe that investing in you is key to us achieving our vision of outstanding care delivered by outstanding people.

We work with a wide range of partner organisations to deliver care and support to people in their own homes and from a number of hospitals and community bases. We focus on delivering care as close to home as possible.

TalkingSpace Plus is an Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service in Oxfordshire delivering cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based psychological interventions, through a stepped care treatment model to people in the community with common mental health problems. To support our continued expansion, we have been developing pathways in working with patients with anxiety and/or depression and living with long term physical health conditions such as Cardiac disease. We have also recently expanded our offer of employment support services.

TalkingSpace Plus continues to develop and build on its excellent reputation of delivering high quality NICE recommended treatment in partnership with Oxfordshire Mind and Principal Medical Limited.

As part of our development, we are seeking to recruit:

  1. A BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who has completed a BABCP accredited course in evidence based talking therapy and has significant experience of working in a primary care setting or
  2. A Clinical / Counselling Psychologist with CBT experience and working towards BABCP accreditation.

We offer supervision, CPD and training to support career progression and have links with the Oxford Centre for Psychological Health that includes Oxford Centre for Cognitive Therapy (OCTC) and Oxford Institute for Clinical Psychology Training, which is hosted by the Trust. We actively encourage innovation and research with opportunities for collaborations with Oxford Academic Health Science Network, University of Oxford Department of Psychiatry and Department of Experimental Psychology.
