Do you have an interest in working in Mental Health. We are currently seeking an able and emotionally resilient administrator to join the City and North East Oxfordshire Adult Mental Health Team (AMHT) You will be providing comprehensive administrative support to all colleagues across the team.
The AMHT provide a comprehensive multi-disciplinary service to individuals living in the Oxfordshire locality who require secondary mental health services.
The nature of this key role is often challenging and demanding that requires skills to handle all contacts confidently with compassion, patience and professionalism. A high level of understanding the importance of confidentiality, particularly regarding patient interactions. Good communication skills are essential for this role when dealing with patients, carer’s, colleagues and other professionals.
The ideal candidate will have a high level of emotional resilience, with a calm manner. You will be organised with a flexible approach demonstrating the ability to work as part of a team There is a requirement to be able to prioritise work independently, whilst managing a defined workload.
Strong IT skills are a requisite of this role. Previous experience working in a Social Care setting is desirable.
The AMHT is based at the Warneford Hospital in Oxford with a satellite base in Bicester. The team is headed up by a committed and dedicated leadership team who will support you and colleagues to deliver the quality of care we expect of all of our staff. Regular supervision will be provided and you will be encouraged to undertake any training relevant to your personal development. Whilst the AMHT Medics and Clinicians operate a 24 hour, 7 days a week service, the Mental Health Administrative staff currently work 09:00 to 17:00 Monday - Friday.
