Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust has been rated as Good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

We are a responsive and innovative Foundation Trust that places our values of Caring, Safe and Excellent at the heart of everything we do. We take great pride in our staff and believe that investing in you is key to us achieving our vision of outstanding care delivered by outstanding people.

We work with a wide range of partner organisations to deliver care and support to people in their own homes and from a number of hospitals and community bases. We focus on delivering care as close to home as possible.

Are you a registered practitioner (RMN/ Social Worker/ Occupational Therapist) with training in mental health?

Do you have an interest in working with young people? Do you want to work in an award winning team?

We are delighted at the prospect of recruiting a Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our busy and dynamic Outreach Service for Children and Adolescents (OSCA) in the Oxford Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, a well-established, clinically excellent team . You would be part of our multi-disciplinary team which offers three approaches to care delivery, namely, Outreach, DBT and Crisis Care. The post holder will be part of the Crisis on call rota for Oxford and Buckinghamshire.

Child and Adolescent Mental Health expertise and experience is desirable, but NOT essential as we recognise that expertise and experience in adult mental health is transferable. In addition we offer opportunities to enhance your existing skills and learn new ones including a foundation course in DBT enabling you to practice as a DBT therapist.

If you enjoy a challenge are enthusiastic and want to make a real difference we very much look forward to hearing from you.
