We are a busy community eating disorder service working with young people and their families across Oxfordshire up to the age of 18. Our administrators are a vital part of our team essentially contributing to our delivery of high quality care.
With a large number of clients across the county our administrators have a key role within the service. You are often the first contact with families and professionals so a good telephone manner and the ability to liaise between team members and clients in a busy environment are essential.
You will be expected to perform and take responsibility for key administrative duties such as letter typing, receiving and making telephone calls, booking rooms and scanning vital clinical documentation. You will also be required to ascertain medical monitoring results and organise treatment packs for the team for assessments, reviews and discharges. This role will also involve putting together agenda and minute paperwork from weekly team meetings.
The post holder will work closely with the band 4 administrator and team manager to ensure all data entry specific to our service targets are accurately gathered and recorded. The role offers the opportunity to provide administrative support for all staff within the team including working with the external stakeholders that interface with the service such as hospitals, schools and social care.
In this role you will have support from a part time band 4. You will be based in one central base and sit within the main team office. You will also be part of our monthly team reflective space, which is externally facilitated and the whole team attends.
As a valued team member we will support you to develop your skills and knowledge, there will be opportunities for you to obtain further qualifications as well as your yearly appraisal review.
We would be happy to consider a flexible working pattern or job share, but do need this role to cover every day of the week.
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
