We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist to join our thriving multidisciplinary team within Marlborough CAMHS. This is chance to join our Trust at an exciting time as we transform our services guided by the iThrive model.
The post holder will be involved in planning and delivering a range of psychological assessments and interventions for children and young people with complex mental health problems, in collaboration with multidisciplinary team colleagues. A core part of this role will be to deliver therapy to children and young people. This role will also include offering assessment, formulation and therapy for our more complex young people who receive longer term interventions.
The post holder will be part of our eating disorder service, providing specialist assessment and interventions alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting time for our nationally recognised Eating Disorder Service as we have been chosen for the regional pilot project for ARFID. Full eating disorders training will be provided for this role.
There will be the opportunity to further develop a wide range of core Clinical Psychology skills such as teaching and training colleagues, consultation, supervision, and audit / service evaluation. The post holder will contribute to the psychological thinking around the provision and evaluation of care, and provide support and training for team colleagues delivering psychological interventions.
Supervision and CPD are high priorities for the service and there are regular professional meetings involving psychologists working across Swindon, Wiltshire and BaNES. We have a strong commitment to Clinical Psychology training and the post holder will be involved in supporting trainees from the Bath Directorate programme.
