Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust has been rated as Good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

We are a responsive and innovative Foundation Trust that places our values of Caring, Safe and Excellent at the heart of everything we do. We take great pride in our staff and believe that investing in you is key to us achieving our vision of outstanding care delivered by outstanding people.

We work with a wide range of partner organisations to deliver care and support to people in their own homes and from a number of hospitals and community bases. We focus on delivering care as close to home as possible.

With a big national focus on improving services for children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing, there has never been a better time to join Oxford Health CAMHS and make a positive difference to children and young people’s life chances.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team to ensure we are delivering outstanding services to the children and young people of the Melksham CAMHS catchment area. Melksham Community CAMHS is located in Melksham Hospital.

You will hold overall management responsibility for all aspects of service delivery and operational matters for Melksham Community CAMHS.  We are working towards a culture where services from across the whole system (including health, education and social care) come together and work together to deliver positive and seamless experiences of care to children, young people and families.

In this hugely important team role, you’ll manage and supervise a diverse group of staff from a range of professional backgrounds, provide great leadership with enthusiasm for service transformation and determination to provide outstanding quality of care, ensuring that children and young people are kept at the heart of everything we do. You’ll be responsible for coordinating and motivating the team, having robust oversight of waiting lists and working with key colleagues to ensure continuity of service.

You will have the opportunity to make an active and meaningful contribution to our exciting service modernisation and redesign that is based on the i-Thrive model, ensuring children and young people get the right support, at the right time, in the right place, from individuals with the right skills. You will also build and maintain strong working relationships with partner agencies supporting the development of integrated care pathways and locality working.

With great communication and organisation skills, and a flexible ‘can-do’ approach, you will work as an integral member of the leadership team across Bath and North-East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire, providing management cover for other team managers as required and participating in the Bath and North-East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Out of Hours On-Call Manager’s Rota.

Candidates will require a professional qualification and previous experience of working in children’s services and/or as a Mental Health practitioner is essential. Car owner and driver is also essential for this post.
