We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Mental Health Nurse to join our supportive and innovative team. We have a multi-disciplinary approach and our service users really benefit from the unique mix of skills, experiences and backgrounds that this offers. You will therefore be bringing your expertise as a qualified Mental Health Nurse to our team.
You will support individuals with a wide range of severe and enduring mental health needs, allowing you the unique opportunity to work with people in a range of settings, helping support their recovery and promoting their goals of living life to the full. The team has a smaller assessment function and a larger treatment function.
This post is predominantly based in our Acute Day Hospital (which is part of the treatment function) and in our Assessment Function, where you will be working with a band 6 carrying out core assessments. Our Acute Day hospital is based in High Wycombe serving the south of the county of Buckinghamshire and is a true alternative to inpatient hospital admission. We aim to support people toward their recovery using a variety of interventions and support.
We are a friendly team and work hard to ensure high quality patient centered care is in place and that our staff are supported in their roles and encouraged to develop. As a team member you will receive ongoing support and development to enhance the care that you provide.
Both work base is in High Wycombe with a satellite base in Amersham and are accessible by public transport and close to amenities. However, there is an expectation that you will have access to a car and hold a full UK license.
