We are looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join North Oxon Community CAMHS, as part of a 1 year secondment. The team covers the north of the county and is anticipated that the post holder will work across the whole locality with flexibility to work from bases in Banbury and Bicester.
The role involves working as part of a supportive and lively multidisciplinary team with children, young people and their families, experiencing a range of complex mental health needs. You will be required to take on the role of Care Coordinator for a caseload of young people; using the CPA process to assess, plan, implement and review your interventions. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent assessment and management of risk and participate in the duty rota for urgent calls.
You will also be required to undertake and contribute to the assessment and formulation of care needs in addition to providing evidence based therapeutic interventions for complex cases and support other team members. You may also be required to undertake specific cognitive assessments, involving evaluation and interpretation of the information collated. The post holder will be supervised by the team’s Senior Clinical Psychologist.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
