Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust has been rated as Good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

We are a responsive and innovative Foundation Trust that places our values of Caring, Safe and Excellent at the heart of everything we do. We take great pride in our staff and believe that investing in you is key to us achieving our vision of outstanding care delivered by outstanding people.

We work with a wide range of partner organisations to deliver care and support to people in their own homes and from a number of hospitals and community bases. We focus on delivering care as close to home as possible.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and effective Senior Group Analyst/Group Psychotherapist to join our friendly and skilled team of psychological therapists, within an Adult Mental Health setting. You will be working with patients with long term mental health problems who have experienced significant adversity. We look forward to receiving your application if you have skills in delivering therapy to this client group and can demonstrate:

  • Evidence of significant knowledge in your specialist therapy area
  • A good working knowledge of effective treatments
  • Sound clinical risk assessment and management
  • Experience of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults
  • Substantial experience of supervision with therapists and other clinical staff

We benefit from good working relationships within the team and with colleagues in the Adult Mental Health Team. The team benefits from weekly meetings and monthly reflective practice. Excellent supervision is provided by senior therapists to help you consolidate your therapy skills in a focused and supported way. It is expected that the post holder will make a significant contribution to the wider staff team via training, supervision, reflective practice, consultation and psychological formulation.

We would also welcome applications from practitioners who are currently on a recognised training course in Group Analysis that would enable them to register with the UKCP as a Group Analyst once completed. This process would be managed under the Trust's preceptorship scheme
