An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Aylesbury Community Mental Health Team (AMHT) for a Deputy Team Manager to provide dedicated clinical and managerial leadership to the Flexible Assertive Community Treatment Teams (FACT).

 

You will join a dynamic and skilled leadership team with professionals from Social Work, Nursing and Occupational Therapy, as well as Psychological Therapists and Psychiatry within an organisation rated “Good” by the CQC. Your professional supervision and leadership needs will be prioritised and you will experience excellent support and professional development opportunities.

 

The Aylesbury Community Mental Health Team is a CMHT providing intensive and seamless assessment, care and treatment for people with a wide range of mental health difficulties across North Buckinghamshire.

 

The post holder will be a qualified RMN who will provide direct clinical leadership to the team alongside the Consultant Psychiatrist, the Deputy Team Managers and Team Managers.  We are looking to recruit a highly skilled, enthusiastic practitioner who is passionate about working with mental health service users and who would like to develop their skills in leadership. The successful candidate will be someone who is able to demonstrate excellent clinical practice, supervise and support junior team members and be confident in offering consultation and training both within the service and to other agencies. You will be offered excellent training opportunities both for your professional development and for any wider skills development you wish to pursue.
