Would you like to come and work in one of the Community Hospitals in Oxfordshire?
Are you looking to develop your skills within a community hospital setting? Oxfordshire has 6 Community Hospitals across the county, located in the City of Oxford, in Abingdon, Bicester, Didcot, Wallingford and Witney Market Towns.
Working within our Nurse-led units you will be caring for patients who have come to us from Medical, Trauma, Renal and Surgical wards and the community for rehabilitation and complex discharge management. You will also have the privilege of caring for patients who are coming to the end of their life as well as patients with a wide variety of other conditions. This means that every day will you will see a variety of specialisms that will allow you to utilise and grow your skills in different ways.
Within the Community Hospitals, the focus is on rehabilitation. To facilitate this there is a very strong therapeutic presence within our multi-disciplinary team which you will be an integral part of.
There are also opportunities to work in the Oxford Stroke Rehabilitation Unit, one of the minor injury units, Emergency Multidisciplinary Unit or First Aid Units
We would like to hear from you if you are a Registered Nursing Associate who is looking for a new challenge, or a newly qualified Registered Nursing Associate who is interested in starting your career within the community hospital setting.
From September 2020 Oxford Health will be offering a top up course for Registered Nursing Associates to move to becoming a Registered Nurse, after which we can offer you excellent career development including:
We have full and part time roles available and all areas have internal rotation across all shifts. We can offer flexibility with reason.
Informal visits from interested candidates are welcomed, we are very proud of our Wards and would love to show you what we do!
